Illuminating Your Inner Identity

Who are we, truly? Often, our responses are simple identifiers: "I am a mother," "I am a man," "I am a yoga teacher," "I am an engineer." However, these are merely roles we fulfill, roles that change over time. If you cease being an engineer, does that mean you no longer exist? Before you became a mother, did you not have an existence?

Can we ever truly comprehend our essence? When we gaze into a mirror, we may think, "here I am." But isn't that just a reflection? If the mirror is curved or bent, our image distorts; we deny this as our true appearance. Can we ever truly see ourselves then?
 

By analogy, we often distort our own self-perception, creating false images and saying things like "I am ugly," "I am not good enough," or "I am beautiful."

So, who is this 'I', and what constitutes our true self?
 

In this workshop series, we will delve into these profound philosophical questions and offer a path toward self-understanding and acceptance guided by yoga traditions. Join us as we embark on this journey of discovery, where we will explore the complex layers of our identities and learn to unmask our genuine selves.
